Chiropractic Techniques

My Chiropractic Techniques

I always say that if you were to go to 80 different chiropractors in this town, for let’s say a headache; you would get 80 different treatments. Nobody likes a “know it all” and I certainly don’t know some of the more esoteric (aka crazy) methods, but I have studied the following techniques that are recognized by most of the National Colleges.

Diversified is the basic chiropractic technique that is so successful that it is considered the foundation of the profession. Additional techniques have been developed over the years with consideration for patients that are hesitant about the more physical methods. Activator, SOT, and Applied Kinesiology are very gentle methods that get results. One size does not fit all and I’ve studied many methods for this reason.

Chiropractic Neurology

Chiropractic Neurology is a new specialty in the chiropractic profession.

Currently, there are approximately 450 active chiropractic neurologists in the world. Doctors who have earned their Diploma in chiropractic neurology have taken it upon themselves to go beyond the conventional confines of chiropractic. After completing chiropractic education, chiropractic neurologists embark on an additional 2-year program that immerses them in a program specializing in cutting-edge, neurology based, health care. Techniques utilized by chiropractic neurologists have been shown to be helpful in the alleviation of symptoms associated with chronic disease. A more complete understanding of brain and spinal cord anatomy, physiology, and function, allows chiropractic neurologists to treat very complex cases. This neurology program is the first and only chiropractic postgraduate course of study to be awarded full accreditation with the National Commission for Certification Agencies(NCCA) a branch of the National Organization for Competency Assurance(NOCA).

If you’ve been to a chiropractor before and prefer to be adjusted in a particular way, let me know. I want you to relax, enjoy and fully benefit from my chiropractic care.
