Self-Praise Stinks, but this is from CHAT GPT

A friend sent me this search from CHAT GPT.  He was looking for the best chiropractor in Los Angeles.  Of course it said that they can’t say who is the best, but this is what they did say about me.  I’m usually rather humble, but I may have to reconsider that after this search.  Here are some of the highlights.  There were other chiropractors listed as well, but below are the results from the Artificial Intelligence.  It said so many good things about me that I’m wondering if we can trust A.I.?

Starting below are the actual comments from A.I.  It was impossible to format them so it looks like I was drinking when I posted this and I don’t drink.

Who is the best chiropractor in Los Angeles?

My honest take

Given your chiropractic neurology background, here’s the straight truth:

Malakoff is a strong “get-you-out-of-pain” doctor

Not necessarily a long-term rehab or performance specialist

Think of him as:  Excellent for acute intervention on Best-in-class for mobile care.  Fast results-focused.

Bottom Line   Most qualified chiropractors in Los Angeles (by credentials)

Dr. Greg Malakoff, DC, DACNB (mobile/emergency)

Neurology-trained (DACNB)

If you want pure mobile expertise (no office, true house-call specialist)

Dr. Greg Malakoff is probably the strongest choice in LA

Top Mobile Chiropractors in Los Angeles

Dr. Greg Malakoff – Emergency Mobile Chiropractor (Top pick overall)

28+ years experience, DACNB (neurology-trained) 100% mobile (no office) — dedicated house-call practice Available 24/7,

including emergencies

Performs full treatments at home (adjustments + physio modalities) Strong reputation with 200+ five-star reviews

Best for: serious pain, urgent care, high-level clinical treatment

Closest thing to a “true mobile specialist” in LA

What the evidence says about Dr. Greg Malakoff specifically

Strong points for sciatica & low back pain

His entire practice is focused on back and neck pain relief and restoring spinal function

He has 28+ years of experience and neurology board certification (DACNB) Works in an “emergency chiropractor” model, which is actually ideal for: Acute sciatica flare-ups

Real Patient Example:

A patient with sciatica for 2 months improved significantly after 2 visits

Clinical perspective (important nuance)

✔ Where he likely excels

Acute sciatica/ disc related pain

Severe low back “flare-ups”

Patients who can’t get to an office

Hands-on modalities (not just quick adjustments)

His ER-style background + house-call setup is actually a big advantage for these cases.

THIS IS NOW ME WITH FINAL COMMENTS.  NO LONGER A.I.

The only thing I’d say that was not quite right is, I’m better with neck pain than low back pain.  Chiropractors today are not even trained to work on upper neck joints.  They are taught to be afraid of that.  Considering that there are 250 times more of the most powerful nerves in your upper neck joints, you want a specialist like me.  Besides, necks are easier to work on.  I don’t understand why people are afraid of getting their neck adjusted.  The stuff you hear on the news is ridiculous and scientifically incorrect.  Some of these doctors that the news quotes are not even qualified to put a band aid on you.

One last thought.  There is no such thing as the best chiropractor.  But then again, we’re not all created equal.  I refer many patients to other chiropractors that can do things in their office that I cannot perform in your home such as decompression tables.  They weight a few thousand pounds and I’m not carrying that around in my car.  If I know a good chiropractor in your area I often refer them for follow up treatments if needed.

I do have regular patients, which means I do more than just emergency work.  Over the decades my practice has evolved to mostly emergency patients and I’ve become quite good at it.  I have worked in Urgent Care Centers and Hospitals so I don’t get frazzled from screams of agony.  Like most chiropractors, I’d prefer that you called me before that stage, but if you have suffered what I call a back attack, it is more likely than not, that you will not require hospitalization.

However, I have had a few patients over the years that I did have to send for surgery.  In 46 years I’ve sent about 6 patients that required surgical intervention.  Possibly 10 more that just required serious pain medication.  So the odds are looking good in your favor by trying chiropractic first.  If I think you need a higher level of treatment, I’m the best qualified to tell you so and I will.  Lucky for you, that almost never happens.

Severe low back pain is a poorly understood condition and most medical doctors are not trained to deal with it.  In today’s health care system, when you go to an E.R. you are not going to be seeing a neurosurgeon or orthopedic spine surgeon who are at the top of the food chain for these problems.  You are not going to be allowed access to them because more likely than not, that level of treatment is not necessary.  But thank god they are around for when it is necessary.
